LEARN MORE
How long does an Intensive Outpatient Program last?
The length of an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) varies based on individual needs, treatment goals, and progress. Most clients attend several sessions per week for a period of weeks to a few months, allowing them to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
What can I expect during an IOP session?
IOP sessions typically include a combination of group therapy, individual counseling, educational discussions, and skill-building activities. The goal is to help participants better understand addiction, develop healthy coping strategies, and strengthen their recovery support network.
Will my family be involved in treatment?
Yes. Project Courage encourages family involvement when appropriate, helping loved ones improve communication, rebuild trust, and better support the recovery process.
What types of addiction do you treat?
Our IOP programs for addiction recovery support individuals struggling with alcohol use, opioid addiction, prescription drug misuse, stimulant use, and other substance use disorders. Treatment plans are personalized to meet each client’s unique needs.
What if I experience a relapse during treatment?
Relapse does not automatically mean you will be discharged from the program. Recovery can involve setbacks, and our team works with clients to understand challenges, adjust treatment plans, and strengthen strategies for continued progress whenever possible.
What makes this IOP different?
Project Courage offers a supportive, whole-person approach that includes group therapy, individual therapy, family involvement, and medication management when appropriate, helping clients build a stronger foundation for lasting recovery.
