Our IOP in CT provides structured yet flexible treatment that allows clients to continue meeting work, school, and family commitments. IHRS brings professional substance abuse outpatient care directly to your home, offering comfort and confidentiality for individuals in CT. Our clinicians provide customized counseling, family guidance, and continued support, creating a seamless step between residential-level care and everyday life.
Our Family Services program provides meaningful support and practical tools for families affected by substance use. With workshops, therapeutic sessions, and structured guidance, we help loved ones navigate the recovery process and grow stronger together. How long will my outpatient treatment last?
The length of treatment depends on your individual needs, recovery goals, and clinical progress. Some clients benefit from short-term support, while others continue care for several months to strengthen long-term recovery.
I’ve never been to therapy before. What should I expect?
Your first sessions are designed to help you feel comfortable and supported. You’ll meet with experienced clinicians, discuss your goals, and create a personalized treatment plan focused on recovery and emotional wellness.
Do you offer medication management services?
Yes. Project Courage includes access to medication management services when clinically appropriate. Clients may meet with a prescribing provider as part of their treatment plan.
Who will be involved in my treatment?
Your care team may include licensed therapists, group facilitators, recovery professionals, family support staff, and medication providers. Family involvement is also encouraged when appropriate.
What happens if I relapse during treatment?
Relapse does not mean failure. Project Courage approaches recovery with compassion and support, helping clients reassess treatment needs, strengthen coping strategies, and continue moving forward.
How many people are typically in group therapy?
Group sizes may vary depending on the program and clinical needs, but sessions are designed to encourage meaningful participation, peer support, and individualized attention.
Can family members participate in treatment?
Yes. Family participation is an important part of the recovery process. Family therapy and support services help improve communication, understanding, and healthy relationship dynamics.
Is outpatient treatment confidential?
