Kate Salmon
Director of Student Support Counseling
Kate Salmon is the Director of Student Support Services at Project Courage, helping students connect with services both inside and outside of school. Specializing in adolescent substance use and mental health conditions, Kate and her team use their experience to provide the most comprehensive and qualified support for the educational communities.
By focusing on both her team and the students feeling safe and being heard, Kate has been able to put her CAC to good use and bridge the divide between clinician and supervisor. Over the years, Kate’s strengths at Project Courage have garnered recognition in the way of internal promotions, first from Recovery Coach to Student Support Counselor, and finally to the Director of Student Support Services. Kate spends her days either in the field, actively counseling, or in the office planning, but it’s the possibility of positive change that gets her up in the morning.
